Just wanted to share a few photos from a recent trip out to California. On a drive down Sunset Blvd, the following photo really jumped out as appealing advertisement and its a shame the hotel room was already booked!

We finally made it out to climb the Via Ferrata, "The Iron Way" a half mile of steel cable that runs vertically up over 600' feet of what certainly seems an instant death, should one fail to properly connect their carabineer. Although the West Virginia thrill ride has the highest caliber of safety practices in place, there is the possibility of not coming down in one whole piece. All kidding aside, this was by far one of the most exhilarating experiences we have ever done! The self-belayed course was an extreme challenge with the ultimate reward of self satisfaction!

Jonathan took some incredible video with use of the new AdventureMyth Helmet Cam, which will be coming out of editing in the next few weeks. We really hope to try and capture the experience and show you truly what to expect after you sign the waiver and head for the summit. All in all the team did a phenomenal job and what a way to celebrate Thomas's birthday! Look for some amazing photographs to come out soon in the photo album section, Shelly was brave enough to lean back and take some breath taking shots! Last but not least a big thanks to the Rock Climbing guides that kept us safe and enterained us as we climbed by.. Tim, Zeb, Jim are hats are off to ya!

Sedona, Arizona

Sedona Arizona is perhaps one of the most picturesque locations in the United States. The red rocks are truly a site to be seen, although pictures can display its beauty and awe, there is nothing better than seeing it in person.

Frank spent a lot of time researching the Coconino National Forest - Palatki Ruins and cave pictographs while in Sedona. Look for a short video to come out in July. Also if you have never seen the Grand Canyon than you will appreciate the following photo. A short hike down in the canyon revealed what has to be one of the most magnificent places in the world.

Kennedy Farm House

Back in 2004 while working with another investigative group, Myself and several members of AdventureMyths investigated the Kennedy Farm House aka John Brown House and actually captured my first EVP. This house dates back to the 1800's and is loaded with mysteries and unexplainable happenings from its past residents to current owners. Although a Reality series was filmed here during this investigation it never really took off, so we decided to use some footage, I shot of the adventure and with permission from Puritano Media Group to use some of their footage, we put together a short video of some of the awesome events that took place in the house years ago. Yorktown, VA

While on travel in Yorktown, VA, I decided to deviate off course for an hour or so and check out the remains of the old Yorke Village. The designation of Yorke Village as a marine port in 1633 demonstrated the importance of maritime commerce to these first settlers. Although the exact size and population of Yorke village is not known, history clearly indicates that during a major portion of the 1600's it served as the social, municipal, and religious center of the portion of the York River area. The only remaining feature from either of the two churches from Yorke Village is the gravestone of Major William Gooch, who died in October 1655. The Gooch grave is one of the oldest legible tombstones in the New World. The decline and eventual abandonment of Yorke village coincided with the upriver development of Yorktown as a superior deepwater port in the late 1690's.

No that's not Norm Gagnon and Mike. Looks like Mike found something interesting while on business travel, a piece of the Berlin wall. Look who else was hanging around, the one and only Alton Brown. For more information on what Mike discovered about the historical stone structure, please email him at Mike@adventuremyths.com
Cape May New Jersey
The Queens Hotel

While on travel, Frank decided to investigate a notorious haunted location in Cape May, New Jersey. The beautifully restored Queens hotel is one of four buildings associated with the Queen Victoria Inn, Bed and Breakfast. Legend has it that the third floor of the House of Royals, (pictured to the left above) is haunted by a spirit of a young prostitute.
The Queens Hotel served as a pharmacy, a Gambling Den and even a Brothel in the late 1800's. Guests of the third floor have reported the smell of perfume, noises and cold spots and female patrons even receive a little push from time to time. Occasionally she will even bump the bed! For those brave enough to stay in the Princess Louise room, you may get more than you bargained for...
AdventureMyth member Frank not only was lucky enough to stay in the Princess Louise room, but no one else was on the third floor the entire night, creating the ultimate haunted environment.
